All DiverMojo trips work hard to reduce our impact on local communities, ocean dive sites and seek to improve projects we engage with.

With your help, DMF brings resources and collaboration with other game-changers around the world to zero in on problems they are facing. Whether it be plastics and trash in our oceans, or diseases affecting our corals.

By making small, but positive and repeatable changes we hope to spread the successes to new and different problems. 

 

One thing we can do is commit to using single-use plastics. 

 

We can use laundry detergent strips, instead of huge plastics bottles of chemicals that end up in the ocean.  There are several available online and in natural stores. 

 

 We can use reef safe sunscreen, skin care products, and mask defog.  Did you know:

• 82% of all body care products on the planet contain Estrogen and Endocrine disruptors.

• The UK just listed 20 chemicals that cause Breast Cancer -19 are in body care products

• You will not be able to find these chemicals on body care labels - 3000 chemicals can be included under the term "fragrance or Parfum"
